Pricing & Estimates

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes! We offer free, no-obligation consultations and estimates for all residential and commercial projects. During your consultation, one of our experienced sales representatives will discuss your goals, take measurements, recommend materials, and provide a detailed proposal tailored to your project.

What factors affect project pricing?

Every project is unique. Pricing is based on several factors, including the size of the project, material selection, site conditions, design complexity, demolition requirements, drainage needs, and accessibility. After evaluating your project, we’ll provide a detailed estimate with transparent pricing.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, because we are a small business a deposit is required before work begins to secure your place on our schedule and order materials. Your payment schedule will be clearly outlined in your proposal and contract before construction starts.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer financing options to help make your outdoor project more affordable. Our team can discuss available financing programs and help you find a payment option that fits your budget.

How long are estimates valid?

Our estimates are typically valid for 30 days. Because material costs and supplier pricing can change, proposals may need to be updated after that time. If your estimate has expired, we’ll be happy to review your project and provide an updated proposal.

Scheduling & Construction

How soon can my project start?

Project start dates vary depending on our current schedule, permitting requirements, and material availability. During your consultation, we’ll provide an estimated start date and keep you informed throughout the scheduling process.

What happens if it rains?

Florida weather can be unpredictable. While rain may delay construction, our team closely monitors weather conditions and will communicate any schedule changes as soon as possible. We always prioritize quality workmanship and safety over rushing a project.

Will I have access to my home during construction?

Yes. There may be temporary periods when access to your driveway, garage, or portions of your yard is limited, but we’ll work with you to minimize disruptions and keep you informed throughout the project.

What should I do before construction begins?

Before your project starts, we recommend removing vehicles from the work area, relocating outdoor furniture, planters, and decorations, and securing pets inside your home. If required, turn off sprinklers and irrigation. Your sales manager will provide any additional preparation instructions specific to your project.

Do I need to be home during the project?

No. While you’re welcome to be home during construction, it isn’t typically required. As long as we have access to the work area and any necessary approvals have been completed, our team can complete your project while keeping you updated on our progress.

Paver Installation

How much does a paver installation cost?

The cost of a paver installation depends on several factors, including the size of the project, the materials you choose, the complexity of the design, site conditions, and any necessary excavation or drainage work. Because every project is unique, we provide a free, personalized estimate after evaluating your property and discussing your goals.

How long does a paver installation take?

Most residential paver installations are completed within a few days to two weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project. Weather, permitting requirements, and material availability can also affect the timeline. Your salesperson will provide an estimated schedule before work begins.

Be Aware: Scheduling is subject to change based on many different factors in construction. Your salesman will walk you through the process.

What type of pavers do you install?

We install a wide variety of high-quality hardscape materials to fit your style and budget, including:

  • Concrete pavers
  • Travertine
  • Natural stone
  • Porcelain pavers
  • Brick pavers

Our team will help you select the best material based on your project’s design, intended use, location and maintenance preferences.

Are pavers better than concrete?

Pavers offer several advantages over traditional poured concrete. They are more resistant to cracking, easier to repair, and available in a wide variety of colors, textures, and patterns. If an individual paver becomes damaged, it can typically be replaced without removing the entire surface. While both materials are durable, many homeowners choose pavers for their long-term performance and enhanced curb appeal.

Do you remove existing concrete?

Yes. If your project requires the removal of an existing concrete driveway, patio, sidewalk, or pool deck, our team can handle the demolition and site preparation before installing your new paver surface. All concrete gets recycled and used on a future project.

Will my yard be damaged during installation?

Most project will need a separate budget for landscaping and irrigation. Our crews take great care to protect your property throughout the installation process. While heavy equipment may temporarily impact surrounding landscaping or grass near the work area, we make every effort to minimize disruption and leave your property clean once the project is complete.

How long do pavers last?

When installed correctly and properly maintained, pavers can last 30 years or more. Routine maintenance, including occasional cleaning and professional sealing, can help preserve their appearance and extend their lifespan.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a one year warranty. Booth’s Cobblestones stands behind the quality of our workmanship. Warranty coverage varies depending on the products installed and the scope of your project. Your salesperson will review all applicable workmanship and manufacturer warranties before construction begins.

Driveway Installation

How long before I can drive on my new driveway?

In most cases, you can drive on your new paver driveway 24 hours after installation is complete. The concrete edging will need this time to cure. Your project manager will let you know if there are any special instructions based on your specific installation.

Can you widen my existing driveway?

Yes, but please keep in mind there may be permit restrictions.  Whether you need additional parking space, easier vehicle access, or want to improve your home’s curb appeal, we can design a driveway expansion that complements your existing hardscape.

What is the best paver for driveways?

The best paver depends on your home’s style, budget, and how the driveway will be used. We offer a variety of durable concrete pavers, natural stone, brick, and other premium materials designed to withstand vehicle traffic while enhancing the appearance of your home. During your consultation, we’ll help you choose the best option for your needs.

Will pavers crack under vehicle weight?

Properly installed pavers are designed to support the weight of everyday vehicles without cracking (around 8,000 PSI). Because pavers are installed as individual units on a compacted base, they are able to flex slightly with ground movement, making them less prone to cracking than traditional poured concrete. Generally the smaller aspect ratio the better.

Can you match my existing driveway?

We never use the word “match” because every individual stone is unique. We will do our best to find a stone that will look similar to your existing pavers in color, style, and pattern. If the original product has been discontinued or is no longer available, we’ll recommend the closest alternative to create a seamless appearance.

Do I need HOA approval?

Many homeowners’ associations require approval before exterior improvements begin. We recommend checking with your HOA before scheduling your project.

Artificial Turf

How long does artificial turf last?

Each manufacturer is different and your sales team will go over these details with you when selecting a product.

Is artificial turf safe for pets?

Yes! Artificial turf is a great option for pet owners. It’s durable, easy to clean, and won’t develop muddy spots or bare patches from heavy use. Many turf products are designed specifically for pets with excellent drainage, allowing liquids to pass through quickly for easier cleanup.

Does artificial turf get hot?

Artificial turf can become warm during hot Florida summers, especially in direct sunlight. However, choosing a lighter-colored turf, adding shade, or occasionally rinsing the surface with water can help reduce surface temperatures. We’ll help you select the best turf product for your outdoor space and comfort.

How is artificial turf installed?

Professional installation begins with removing the existing grass or landscaping and preparing a stable, compacted base. The turf is then carefully cut, secured, and joined before infill is added to help support the fibers and improve durability. Finally, the turf is brushed to create a natural-looking finish that’s ready to enjoy.

Can weeds grow through artificial turf?

Yes, they may still grow. A commercial-grade weed barrier and properly prepared base help prevent weeds from growing underneath the turf. While the occasional airborne weed seed may sprout on the surface, routine maintenance makes them easy to remove.

How do I clean artificial turf?

Each product is different and your sales team will go over these details with you when selecting a manufacturer.

Paver Cleaning

Can pressure washing damage my pavers?

When performed correctly, pressure washing is a safe and effective way to clean pavers. However, using excessive pressure or improper techniques can remove joint sand, damage the surface of the pavers, or cause unnecessary wear. At Booth’s Cobblestones, we use professional equipment and proven cleaning methods to safely restore your pavers without causing damage.

How often should pavers be professionally cleaned?

Most paver driveways, patios, and pool decks should be professionally cleaned every 18 months–3 years depending on your environment. Areas with heavy shade, frequent foot traffic, or exposure to dirt, mold, and algae may benefit from more frequent cleaning to keep them looking their best.

Do you remove mold, algae, and rust stains?

Yes. Our professional cleaning process removes common stains caused by mold, mildew, algae, dirt, and organic buildup. We can also treat many rust and irrigation stains. While most stains can be significantly improved or completely removed, results may vary depending on the type and age of the stain. Keep in mind not all stains can be removed 100%.

What’s the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to remove dirt, grime, and buildup from durable surfaces like pavers and concrete. Soft washing uses low-pressure water combined with specialized cleaning solutions to safely remove mold, algae, and organic growth from more delicate surfaces. Our team will determine the best cleaning method based on your project to ensure the safest and most effective results.

Should I have my pavers sealed after cleaning?

Yes. We strongly recommend sealing your pavers after they have been professionally cleaned. Sealing helps protect your investment by enhancing color, reducing stains, minimizing weed growth, discouraging mold and algae, and helping stabilize the joint sand between the pavers. For most Florida homes, we recommend cleaning and sealing every 18 months–3 years to keep your pavers looking beautiful and performing their best. Sealing will help lock in paver color.

Paver Sealing

We use a Florida-Based company that is designed for Florida’s conditions.

When can I walk or drive on my newly sealed surface?

Foot traffic is typically allowed after 24 hours. For driveways and other vehicle traffic, we recommend waiting 48–72 hours, depending on weather conditions and the type of sealer used.

How often should my pavers be resealed?

Most sealed surfaces should be resealed every 18 months–3 years. The exact timing depends on sun exposure, traffic, weather, and the type of sealer selected.

Do I need new polymeric sand?

Yes. If the existing joint sand has deteriorated, washed away, or is allowing weeds or ant activity, replacing it with polymeric sand is recommended before sealing. Based on the size of the joints between your pavers, some might need a different type of sand. Your salesman will discuss this with you.

What is the polymeric sand process?

Old or loose joint sand is removed as needed, new polymeric sand is swept into the joints, and the surface is compacted and cleaned. The sand is then activated with water before the sealer is applied, helping stabilize the joints and reduce weed growth and erosion.

Can you make my pavers look new again?

Sealing enhances the color and appearance of your surface while protecting it from the elements. While it can significantly improve the look of many surfaces, it cannot remove permanent stains, repair damage, or restore worn pavers to a brand-new condition.

What happens if it rains after my project is sealed?

We closely monitor the weather before every project. If rain is expected before the sealer has adequate time to cure, your service may be rescheduled to ensure the best possible results.

Will sealing change the color of my pavers?

It depends on the product you choose. Natural-look sealers preserve the existing appearance, while semi-gloss sealers enhance the color and create a richer, “wet look.”

Will sealing make weeds stop growing?

No. Sealing and polymeric sand help reduce weed growth by stabilizing the joints, but they cannot completely prevent weeds. Airborne seeds can still settle and grow over time.

Can sealing fix stains, fading, or damaged pavers?

Sealing enhances and protects your surface but does not repair cracked pavers, remove every stain, or restore heavily worn surfaces to a brand-new appearance.

How should I care for my sealed surface?

Regular sweeping and occasional rinsing will help keep your surface looking its best. Avoid harsh chemicals and pressure washing until the sealer has fully cured.

Will the sealer peel or flake?

When the appropriate sealer is selected for the surface and applied correctly, it should not peel or flake. Proper surface preparation and maintenance are important for long-lasting results.

Repairs

Why are my pavers sinking?

Pavers can sink over time due to poor drainage, erosion, inadequate base preparation, or natural soil movement. Florida’s heavy rainfall can also wash away the supporting base beneath the pavers, causing low spots or uneven surfaces. Our team will identify the root cause of the problem and make the necessary repairs to restore a safe, level surface.

Can individual pavers be replaced?

Yes. One of the biggest advantages of pavers is that individual stones can often be removed and replaced without disturbing the rest of the installation. Whether a paver is cracked, stained, or damaged, we’ll do our best to find a replacement for a seamless repair.

Can you fix uneven pavers?

Absolutely. We regularly repair uneven, sunken, and shifted pavers by lifting the affected area, correcting the base, and reinstalling the pavers to their proper height. This eliminates trip hazards and restores the appearance and functionality of your hardscape.

Can you repair retaining walls?

Yes. We repair many types of retaining walls, including walls that have shifted, settled, bowed, or experienced damage over time. Our team will evaluate the condition of your retaining wall and recommend the most effective repair solution to restore its stability and appearance.

Can you repair pavers installed by another contractor?

Yes! We regularly repair and restore paver projects that were originally installed by other contractors. Whether your driveway, patio, pool deck, or walkway has settled, shifted, become uneven, or needs individual pavers replaced, our experienced team can evaluate the problem and recommend the best repair solution.

Drainage & Water Management

Can you fix drainage problems?

Yes. We regularly solve drainage issues that can lead to standing water, erosion, and damage to your outdoor living space. Our team will evaluate your property and recommend the best solution based on your specific drainage needs. Some projects may require an outside engineer.

Why is water pooling on my patio or driveway?

Standing water is often caused by improper grading, settling, clogged drainage systems, or poor water runoff. Left untreated, drainage issues can contribute to sinking pavers and long-term damage. We’ll identify the cause and recommend a lasting solution.

Can pavers improve drainage?

Yes. A properly designed and professionally installed paver system can improve water drainage by directing runoff away from your home and reducing standing water. We carefully evaluate grading and drainage during every installation to help protect your investment.

Do you install French drains or channel drains?

Yes. When needed, we install drainage solutions such as French drains, channel drains, and other water management systems to help prevent flooding, erosion, and water damage around your property.

Outdoor Living

Can you install fire pits or fireplaces?

Absolutely. Whether you’re looking for a cozy fire pit or a custom outdoor fireplace, we can incorporate these features into your patio or outdoor living space to create a comfortable gathering area year-round.

Do you build seating walls?

Yes. Seating walls are a beautiful way to add both function and style to your outdoor space. We can design custom seating walls that complement your patio, fire pit, retaining wall, or landscape design.

Can my project be completed in phases?

Yes. Many homeowners choose to complete larger outdoor living projects in phases. We can help you develop a long-term plan that allows you to spread your investment over time while ensuring each phase is designed to integrate seamlessly with future additions.
